About this ebook

I’m done with love.

Starting over in Sunset Ridge—the epitome of small town Alaskan charm—is just what I need after a sour breakup. I mean, where else can I get a bowl of the best caribou chili while hearing stories about Ed the matchmaking moose? It’s the perfect inspiration for my next novel.

The only problem? The local shelter is about to be shut down, and they desperately need my charity fundraising skills. Which is how I end up working side by side with the grumpiest man I’ve ever met: local veterinarian, Dr. Marc Evans. It wouldn’t be so bad if I didn’t have a teeny, tiny little crush on him.

Not that it matters. The sexy, bearded, flannel-wearing defender of abandoned animals can’t stand me anyway. And it’s not like I’m ever going to admit that he’s the inspiration for the grumpy hero in my next romance novel.

So what if he has the ability to make me dizzy with his rare, heart-stopping smiles, and enough almost kisses to make a reader want to throw her book across the room?

I’m done with love.

At least, I thought I was…

Like the setting and the background of the story. Lighthearted Romance that you wonder if it is even going to happen. Great characters to follow along as they work their way through the feelings and the attractions that they're feeling better fighting all the way. Secret love is always interesting and can be quite humorous. Some of the secondary characters are interesting because they add flair to the story and an interesting take on the romance. Good read. Jacqueline Winters has wrote an interesting story. A moose being a match maker that sounds crazy! The characters were entertaining and extremely realistic. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is the first book I have by this author and I loved it! I need to read the previous books in this series because there were so many little nuggets that had me curious about the other characters. This story was realistic and entertaining. The characters were charming and relatable. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

About the author

Jacqueline Winters has been writing since she was nine when she'd sneak stacks of paper from her grandma's closet and fill them with adventure. She grew up in northeast Nebraska and spent a decade living in beautiful Alaska. She writes contemporary sweet romances that include toe-curling kisses, small town charm, and lovable four-legged sidekicks. Her love of Alaska is imbued in her most popular series, fondly called the "moose books" by her readers.
