Enforced by the King to accept her, Bertram sets Helena unrealistic terms to meet before he will do so. Through determination, deception, and putting her life on the line, Helena faces the challenge of proving her worth. William Shakespeare (1564 - 1616) was an English playwright, poet, and actor. He is considered to be the greatest writer in the English language and is celebrated as the world's most famous dramatist.
