Max is gymnastic coach that teaches College in Paris , He is an ex hitman, a Russian hottie , and I think he is lonely and broken.Olivia (Liv) is a gymnast from a small town in North Carolina that get chosen to attend college in Paris. Liv is young and very sheltered and then gets thrown into Paris where she meets her room mate Maggie another young sheltered woman. The first night these two ladies decide to meet up with Will the young man that Liv met on the plane ride, and their world is completely turned upside down. Max shows up to class and notices his Oliva is missing on the first day of class which he finds very strange a he has a bad feeling about her and her roommate missing. Max finds Oliva with help of his techie friend but Maggie is gone. Max has to back into a killer and he starts feeling more human around Liv. I really liked the story it was very fast paced lots of action and twists. Max when he is around Oliva he becomes so different, his heart definitely softens. Liv she is a great character that really grew up fast in this book , her friendship with Maggie is instant and unwavering from the beginning which I respect so much .I really wish I could have had more time with Liv and Max to see their relationship bloom. Alexis Abbott writes a perfect Alpha badass like no other.

I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book. Liv meets Max at a banquet being held for gymnasts. There he offers her the chance to go to France and be trained at an elite gymnast company. Liv is originally from a small town in North Carolina, so this is a big opportunity for her. Soon after arriving in France, she meets her new flat mate and they go out on the town. That's when things take a turn. They get themselves into a mess that they have no way to get out of, unless someone rescues them; highly unlikely considering that no one will be any the wiser. Someone more dangerous than the people that want to hurt them. Someone who knows how to deal with people like that. Liv loses all hope, not hard to do considering her situation. Max feels responsible for her and calls upon his old skills to make her safe. Apparently, her new gymnastics coach has some skills she never imagined. Max is one bad ass, deadly, hardened hitman, rather, sort of ex hitman. He thought he left that life behind....obviously not too far behind. He was also tender and caring when it came to Liv. They were a good match . AMAZING STORY WITH EQUALLY AMAZING CHARACTERS ! GREAT PLOT WITH TWISTS & TURNS AND LOTS OF SUSPENSE ! NON STOP ACTION ! THEIR CHEMISTRY WAS OFF THE CHARTS ! DEFINITELY ONE-CLICK THIS BOOK ! ! !
