It's possibly a great book but already in chapter 1 there is a false direction that really bothers me. It states a customers first and last name should be used to find the customers id and then use this if to find the account number. Even after describing the limitation of the customer table having repeat first and last names it still gives this false guidance. The account Id is what should be used as the starting point. The first and last name can be taken from the customer table but to be honest they should be put the name with the account id and in this example there is no advantage to a customer table. Disappointing.
