Aesop lived more than 2500 years ago, yet his timeless stories continue to entertain, educate and inspire today. Aesop's fables are a collection of stories from the Greek oral tradition. These stories have been used for moral instruction for thousands of years. "The Boy who Cried Wolf" is just one of many of these fables, all of which include a moral. Aesop was a slave and a storyteller who lived in ancient Greece between 620 and 564 BC.
