5 stars for my first experience of the author and an ebook which I bought on a whim during lockdown. I suppose I didn't really have any great expectations about 'Adults' and just wanted something easy to digest, however, this book was a unexpected great read! I thoroughtly enjoyed the construct of the prose and the variation of the protagonist dialogue with the reader. The story was heartfelt, whitty and relatable - as were the characters. Happy reading everyone ❤️
