About this ebook

Sometimes true love can be right around the corner.

Give Kari Halvorsen a spreadsheet and she’ll have it mastered by noon. Give her a broken sink in her brand-new home and, well, that’s a different story. Turns out her lifelong dream of owning her own house is very different from the reality—and it’s terrifying.

Enter the guy next door. Rob Fox has serious do-it-yourself skills and he’s more than happy to put them to work for his pretty neighbor. But that’s as far as it can go. He’s always been a disaster with women—just ask his ex-wife—and he doesn’t need an enemy in his backyard. He’ll fix Kari’s sink, and that’s it.

But attraction has other plans for these two. And it’s not long before they’re exploring more than the paint aisle at the local home improvement store. Now, it’s a question of whether or not they can overcome decades of going it alone and build a foundation together.

I read Angling for You, Sam and Gray’s story, so I knew I wanted to read this book. I loved it even more. This is a later in life romance centered around Kari and Rob. Kari buys her first house and it just happens to be next door to Rob. When she ends up with a leaking sink, Rob comes to the rescue. Awww this was so sweet. The main characters were so lovely.Kari has just moved next door to Rob.When she needs help with fixing her leaking kitchen faucet, she asks for his help and he is very happy to help.He offers to help her with more stuff around the house as she does not know where to start. She helps him organise his paperwork,as that is her talent. The attraction between them is very strong, but Rob does not want to start a relationship as his past history with women is not great. He would like to stay friends with Kari and not risk losing the friendship they have together incase it blows up in his face. Kari is very independent and has not had much luck with relationships either, but she has an instant attraction to her new neighbour. They both confess their feelings to each other and with their loved ones trying to encourage their relationship they don't stand a chance. They do eventually get to their happily ever after. Really enjoyed this sweet slow burn neighbours to lovers romance.Looking forward to reading the next book in the series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
