Fantasy is not my first choice. This book has pretty much all the players, vampires, demons, werewolves, hellhounds, witches, phoenixes and of course dragons. Much treachery, angst, violence and steam. The story basis is good, got a little lost in the violence and skirmishes. If you love fantasy, this story is for you.

This was definitely my kind of read. Fantasy creatures, forbidden love with steamy sex and epic fight scenes. I was on the edge of my seat the majority of the time and even brought to tears when I thought a certain someone died! I will be moving on to the the second book in the series and will anxiously be awaiting the third- fingers crossed that they're just as amazing as this one!

I'm a guy, yes I love romance novels, I got so caught up in the sheer JOY of reading this book and it's sequel that I'm just NOW writing a review! The characters, world, and everything in-between draw you in from the first page to last IN BOTH BOOKS!! Author you have an amazing gift and talent, please keep writing more and more! Pre-ordered 3rd book and can't wait for the 4th!!
