Growing up in New Zealand’s North Island, Heather enjoyed an idyllic childhood on the family sheep and cattle farm. She dreamed of becoming a writer and after meeting and marrying an Australian man and setting up home in rural Queensland. Over the years, Heather’s love and knowledge of farming grew while an assortment of animals and characters provided inspiration. Now retired, Heather writes in her large garden accompanied by her dog and chooks.
