Dr. Matthias Kork and his wife travel on a luxury train through the Rocky Mountains, where they encounter a series of couples celebrating romantic milestones. A Japanese national is found dead. She may be collateral damage in an attempt on the life of her American husband. Matt’s inquiries attract attention from domestic and foreign intelligence services. His efforts to discover the cause and manner of death do not go smoothly or unpunished.

Peter Tinits is a Canadian anesthesiologist and coroner who writes crime fiction laced with suspense and dark humor.

Acerca del autor

Peter Tinits is a Canadian medical doctor who has practiced as an emergency physician, anesthesiologist and coroner. He writes crime fiction and thrillers, inspired by classic noir authors from the 1950s. Like Phillip Marlowe, the protagonist in his Matthias Kork Investigating Coroner series walks the mean streets/hospital corridors but is not himself mean. Peter is also the author of Millennium Lament, an accretion of illustrated poetry and short prose. His writing features dark humor and authentic detail. Peter lives with his wife in Southwest Ontario. Visit www.petertinits.com.
