About the author

Peter Tinits is a Canadian medical doctor who has practiced as an emergency physician, anesthesiologist and coroner. He writes crime fiction and thrillers, inspired by classic noir authors from the 1950s. Like Phillip Marlowe, the protagonist in his Matthias Kork Investigating Coroner series walks the mean streets/hospital corridors but is not himself mean. Peter is also the author of Millennium Lament, an accretion of illustrated poetry and short prose. His writing features dark humor and authentic detail. Peter lives with his wife in Southwest Ontario. Visit www.petertinits.com.
