I've never read a book that starts so abruptly. And I think it's odd how she makes fun of Twilight, when nobody is going to read a series called Forks, unless they liked Stephanie Meyer's books. The only thing stranger than sparkly vampires is cinnamon averse vampires. I read this twice to try to understand it, but I still have unanswered questions. Like how can Vincent be the brother of Victor and Viola, when they're all they're the same age and in the same grade? At one point a character says, "Wait, you don't know?" And that's all the answer you get. Also, it is so unrealistic that everyone in this town hates her instantly for no reason. From teachers, to nurses, to students, cashiers, strangers on the street, they are all unbelievably rude. That's not how people in a small town behave, especially to a new person in town. I got the feeling that the main character must have a persecution complex, or be paranoid, but no, that's how everyone treats her. And even people who are her friends, or love interests, they aren't nice either. They accuse her of running hot and cold, when it's actually them leading her on, but then making out with other girls at the same time. And her best friend glares at her or bugs her, just to be annoying. By the end of book one, you expect some kind of closure on what she's learned, but instead, they just call her gullible and don't explain anything. I even read 2 and 3 in the hopes I'd get more understanding, but still don't have answers to basic questions. And book 4 appears to be nowhere in sight. Guess we'll never get the answers to the questions these books create. If you can handle your questions never getting answered, then go ahead. It drives me crazy, though. And if sparkly vampires bother you, don't read these books, because how can Red Hots save you from vampires? But they do, in this series. I laughed out loud when Red Hots somehow save the main character from being killed. I don't think the author meant it to be funny, but it was!

Although this story is very Twilight-like, it's still a good storyline. However, the misspellings and punctuation errors are extremely distracting and frustrating. While correct spelling and punctuation aren't necessary to tell a good story, professional writing demands it. Please hire a good proofreader.

I like it's story line and a little bit character but too much suspense and what's wrong with amber she is stupid always running from the truth she is a closed minded girl she is confused about her feeling why didn't she choose one as Vincent said I don't get her either in the last of this book she kissed someone who knows whose and in the beginning of the second book she confused again now I am confused about her feeling I don't know why when I don't/won't read the second book but I feel sorry for Vincent I like Vincent and I don't know whose heart going to break that's why I hate triangle
