Great insight into the dogs perspective. Straight to the point most of the time. My only dislike is when the narrator tries to impersonate someone in a story.

One of my favorite books! I have raised multiple dogs since first reading this when I worked for company that bound this book in hardcover years ago. Because of this book, I've successfully trained and raised dogs for myself and family to be very social, obedient, and maximized their personalities and social skills.
About the author
Stanley Coren, a professor of psychology at the University of British Columbia, is a recognized expert on dog-human interaction who has appeared on Dateline; The Oprah Winfrey Show; Good Morning, America; 20/20; Larry King Live; and many other TV and radio programs. He lives in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Bob Dio is a veteran voice-over artist, actor, and director. As an actor, his feature films and television acting credits include Live by Night, Ghostbusters, American Hustle, The Equalizer, and Promises in the Dark. Bob was also the supervising producer for the television series Real Stories of the Highway Patrol.
