About the author

Francesca Hornak is a writer and journalist, whose work has appeared in newspapers and magazines including the Sunday Times, The Times, Guardian, Daily Mail, the FT's HTSI magazine, the Economist's 1843 magazine, the Evening Standard's ES magazine, Marie Claire, Red and Elle. Her fictional column 'History of the World in 100 Modern Objects' first appeared in the Sunday Times Style magazine in 2013 and ran for two years, later becoming a book. Her first novel Seven Days of Us was a Radio 2 Book Club pick and longlisted for The Desmond Elliott Prize. She is also the author of the gift and humour book Worry With Mother. Francesca lives in London, with her husband and three children.

JILLY BOND has recorded over 300 audiobooks and won four Audiofile Earphones Awards.
