About the author
David Powlison (1949-2019) was a teacher, counselor, and the executive director of the Christian Counseling & Educational Foundation. He wrote many books and minibooks, including Speaking Truth in Love, Seeing with New Eyes, Power Encounters, The Biblical Counseling Movement, Good and Angry, and Making All Things New.
As a young boy Jim Seybert would dictate stories, telling his parents to "write this down."
