Well I can now fully appreciate why this audio book was free, the author self published and the subsequent two books in the trilogy cost only a couple of quid. A truly ridiculous and unbelievable story, poorly written and badly narrated. I wouldn't normally go out of my way to write a review, especially a bad one. After all, we all need to make a living. Put simply, that's five hours of my life I won't get back. I only continued to listen so I could find out just how badly this story would end, otherwise I would have ditched it after just a few chapters. This book made me cringe and laugh out loud but for all the wrong reasons. Sorry Morgan Rice, but this will be the first and only title of your"works" I will ever read. Also, I can't help but think that if all of these five star ratings are legitimate, these people seriously need to read more books....

Started off interesting and then unfolded Into a ridiculously stupid story. Seems like it was written by a middle school student. The second book is even worse. I want my $9.95 back. Not to mention the time I spent listening to it. One of the worst authors in the business. I hope Morgan stops are writing.

Although not very well written, it's mildly interesting. However, the audiobook is awful - very poorly read. I borrowed it from my library and would have listened all the way through except that I hated the narration so much that I quit halfway.
