Dale T. Palmer was born in Lakeville, Minnesota, in 1977, and grew up with his four siblings. He graduated with a degree in journalism from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts. In 2002, he became a special correspondent in Western Europe for a well-known North American channel. Since then, he has been living in the southwest of France, working as a wine producer, a writer, and continuing to freelance as a journalist for various media outlets. As a writer, he has received several European awards. He is married and has three children.
