Wendy Holden was born in Cleckheaton, Yorkshire, England on June, 12 1965. She studied English at Girton College, Cambridge. Before becoming a full-time author, she was an editor at numerous magazines including Apollo, Harper's Bazaar, Sunday Telegraph Magazine, and Tatler.
