He fought for truth and righteousness with his mind and pen, he fought for lost souls to hear the good news of Jesus Christ, and at the age of forty-seven, as an army chaplain, he was killed on the battle-field. William Boekestein is the pastor at Immanuel Fellowship Church in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Prior to this, he pastored at Covenant Reformed Church, Carbondale, Pennsylvania and taught at a Christian school. He has authored several books including A Well-Ordered Church with Daniel R. Hyde.
