Ben Gannon and his girlfriend have sailed across the Pacific for a restful vacation before he reports to work at his next deep-sea diving job. But when they witness a freighter under attack from machine-gun-toting pirates, they find their lives in peril.
Reporting the incident does no good, as the authorities find no trace of the ship in their registry. Soon Ben and Sasha are hunted by the dangerous men who seek the ship’s valuable cargo—a mysterious cache worth millions on the black market. Trouble is, the doomed freighter lies at the bottom of the ocean.
When Sasha falls into the wrong hands, Ben finds himself unwillingly working with the enemy—to retrieve the cargo and stay alive.

John McKinna, before his untimely death in 2016, was an underwater technical supervisor and operations manager, responsible for overseeing upkeep of the main structure and support systems of the Key Largo Undersea Park, home of Jules’ Undersea Lodge. A former offshore commercial diver, he was also a musician and an internationally known novelist. He was an avid free-diver and cruising sailor.
Jamie Renell originally hails from New England and is a rabid Red Sox fan. After graduating high school, he moved to Tallahassee, Florida, and attended Florida State University, where he received his BFA in acting. Upon graduating, Jamie moved to Atlanta to pursue his acting career in the burgeoning film community there. He has been involved in films, TV, and voice-over for more than ten years, and has credits that run the gamut, including Prison Break, Homeland, Jumanji, and Pitch Perfect, not to mention voicing nearly 200 audiobooks! He is the father to four wonderful, amazing children and husband to the most incredible woman in the world.
