Hilda Snibbs takes her three mischievous little monkeys to stay with her Uncle Gilbert for Christmas. Among many amazing things, Uncle Gilbert’s prized possession is an ancient golden teapot, so the little monkeys must be very good. But what is supposed to be a traditional holiday is soon filled with chaos! Hilda begins to regret bringing the three little monkeys with her – until, one night, their antics come in very handy . . .

Quentin Blake taught at the Royal College of Art, where he was Head of the Illustration Department before becoming a full time illustrator. He has collaborated with writers such as Russell Hoban, John Yeoman, and most famously Roald Dahl. He has also illustrated classic books for adults and created much-loved characters of his own such as Mr Magnolia and Mrs Armitage. He also curates exhibitions and is a Patron of the Campaign for Drawing.
