As Quinta and Twain search the Emporium for answers, though, they discover the secret might not have actually been lost—but destroyed. And likely, for good reason.

Jamie Pacton is the author of The Life and (Medieval) Times of Kit Sweetly and Lucky Girl. An author, teacher, mom, and inclusive feminist, Jamie grew up minutes away from the National Storytelling Center in the mountains of East Tennessee. She currently lives in rural Wisconsin with her husband, their two kids, and a dog named Lego.
