The Ten Commandments by Arthur W. Pink is a short introduction to God’s Moral Law. Pink shows that the Moral Law is still binding on all men today, that humanity will be judged for its violation, and that it is the rule of life and means of sanctification for the Christian. At one time, this was the prevailing understanding in Christianity.
God gave the commandments for His own glory and also for the good of man. Each commandment has both a positive and negative force. If something is forbidden, the opposite virtue is enjoined.
