Antonia White (1899-1980) was educated in London at St Paul's and RADA. From 1924 until the Second World War she worked as a journalist. Among many volumes of short stories, fiction and autobiography, White published a celebrated quartet of novels: Frost in May, The Lost Traveller, The Sugar House, and Beyond the Glass.
Kim Bretton is an Audie Award nominee, a Broadway World Award winner, and was voted Best Actress in Nashville by the Nashville Scene. She has narrated over 100 audiobooks to date. Her TV and film credits include Call Red for ITV, Don't Look Back for New Forest Films, and the lead role in the 1990s TV series Mentors.
