Imprisoned but not defeated, he befriends Oso, a Highlander who helps him escape the mines. Clashing with the High King's reivers and destroying their prison, he and Oso begin to infuse hope once more in the people of his homeland.

Peter Wacht's novels focus on the fantasy and young adult fiction genres. He is the author of The Legend of the Kestrel, the first book in The Sylvan Chronicles Series. When he's not writing, Peter runs a nonprofit, coaches soccer, is in a PhD program for writing and rhetoric, and still finds time to be with his family.
Bruce Mann is an award-winning voice artist and actor. He was born in the UK and now lives in California. His awards include several AudioFile Earphones Awards, two Audie nominations, and an AudioFile Excellence Award.
