The Highlander’s Secret Love

Lorna has loved Blane, Laird of Nairn, for years but his bitter mother, Lady Morna, does what she can to keep Lorna and Blane apart, including arranging a marriage for Blane that will benefit both clans.

When Lorna discovers that Blane is betrothed to Edana, daughter of the Laird of Shetland, after not having seen him in over a year, her world collapses. Edana's parents are pushing for a quick marriage, keeping it a secret from Lady Morna that they are desperate for money.

Desperately needing to see Blane, Lorna visits the castle with her father, and old feelings stir when she sets eyes on him. Blane is taken aback by her beauty but says nothing as he is to be married soon. But as weeks go by, Blane finds his feelings growing for Lorna and vows to break the betrothal to Edana.

Both Edana and Blane are living secret lives, neither knowing, until Edana finds out Blane's secret and vows to have him and Lorna destroyed. Edana will stop at nothing to have Blane and become his wife, even committing one unforgivable act that will destroy Blane's world and tear the clans apart.
