Howdy. I hope you and your loved ones are keeping well and staying safe.
Since I was young, I’ve loved reading. Before, and after school, it was common for my parents to find me with my nose in a book; eager to see where the characters in the story would take me next. And if I got my way, my reading would come before doing my homework! Although more often than not, my parents would make sure homework took priority. But then, who enjoyed doing homework anyway?
I started reading adult books when I was seven. And to this day, I enjoy thrillers, action adventures, westerns, mysteries, comedies, sci-fi, and fantasy stories. And from my love of reading came my love of writing. I discovered the passion for creating characters and putting them in stories where they would face all kinds of perils.
As I progressed through school and higher education, where I graduated in I.T., and eventually into my chosen career, my reading and writing have stayed with me. Although these days I prefer to read ebooks instead of paperbacks or hardbacks.
And it was while my wife and I were discussing the original idea for The Enemy Within; that we decided I should use this story to turn my passion for writing into a new career as an author.
