Evie's shattered ribs have been a secret for the last four years. A British-American citizen of Italian heritage, Alexia Casale is an author, teacher, and writing consultant. After returning to the UK, Alexia completed a PhD and teaching qualification. She worked as a West End script-critic, box-office manager for a music festival, and executive editor of a human rights journal.
Sasha Higgins, a classically trained actress and voice artist, has performed on the West End, at the Geffen, and off- Broadway. She has also starred in numerous independent films and voiced the role of Miranda in The Tempest for BBC Radio 4. She currently lives in Venice, California, with her husband, Ethan, and two dogs.
