The Best Kept Secret

The Best Kept Secret is a hilarious contemporary romance by Tawna Fenske. Ms. Fenske has provided readers with a well-written book and populated it with lovable and sometimes quirky characters. The characters in this book and the dialog are totally top shelf. Nyla is a nurse and very close with her family. Nyla's problem is she can't keep a secret. Leo is the ex-husband of Nyla's sister and when Nyla dropped off soup after he had gum surgery, Leo spilled a secret to Nyla in his drugged state. Nyla and Leo's story is packed with drama, humor and sizzle. Pack a tissue, you'll be laughing that hard. I enjoyed reading this book and look forward to my next book by Tawna Fenske. Sweet and charming: I enjoyed this cute and fun rom-com that had all the feels. Leo had remained friends with Nyla, his ex-sister-in-law, but they bonded further over family secrets. It was fun watching them try to resist the growing attraction between them and navigate the obstacles that were in their way. I enjoyed the light humour which was woven throughout and thought this did a good job of balancing out some of the heavier or emotional times. All in all a great addition to the series. It can totally be enjoyed as a standalone yet I'd highly recommend reading the rest of these fun and fulfilling books. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
