Alex Scire never thought much about the supernatural – until he mistakenly took his dad’s magical ankh. After discovering a clue to the Palantir’s location, Alex joins an archeological expedition headed to the ancient Mayan city of Lamanai to search for the object. But to find it, he has to battle a tyrannical ghost king, survive assassination attempts by those who killed his family, and gain the trust of two skeptical Druid apprentices.

Quelques mots sur l'auteur
JC Holmberg is the author of The Palantir, the first book in the Young Adult Fantasy Adventure series titled The Maqlû. He and his wife Mari, who doubles as one of his editors, live in the wildlands of Kentucky. John splits his time between working on his forestland and writing. He’s excited for the pandemic to finally be winding down so he can continue his book travels with his international travel-guide (his youngest daughter) to research settings for books 5-8.
