Paul Collins was born in England in 1954, raised in New Zealand and moved to Australia in 1972. His novels have won many awards, including the inaugural 2002 Peter McNamara Award for life time achievement in science fiction. Paul has been an instrumental figure in the world of science fiction and fantasy novels. He has run the gamut of the publishing industry, having worked as publisher, editor, writer, literary agent, proof-reader and typesetter. Currently living in Clifton Hill, Victoria, Paul focuses on writing for children and young people.
Richard Aspel is a talented narrator of children's and adult audiobooks. He trained and worked in London, before returning to Australia where he has worked extensively in television, theatre and radio. His television credits include Neighbours and Carson's Law, and he provided various voices for The Silver Brumby animated series. Richard was nominated for the prestigious Audie Award (US) for his narration of The Mark of the Angel by Nancy Huston.
