This book was okay but nothing really exciting about it. It's an insta/shifter romance but I have to say that I don't really like how this author played with the type of shifter. Instead of shifting into one specific animal, she made them moreso shape shifters where that can change into whatever animal. I also thought that it took too long for the male character to tell the female (or his mate) that he was a shifter. Almost the entire book before she's told. For me, there wasn't enough conflict in the story and a lot of the story just left open ended. It reads as very amateur.

I'm assuming the story would be fine if I read the e-book, but auto-narration is not yet up to snuff, so I can't finish it in audio form. I will try again in e-book form. Please, keep Americans employed, hire a living person to narrate your books so it can be enjoyed as you planned when you took the time and effort to write it. Lori - avid book lover
