I was initially irritated by our FMC, down on her luck actress Kitty. She can be judgmental and unrealistic, but she becomes more likable by the end of the book. Her vampire love interest, Owen, is interesting. I don’t want to say too much and spoil the surprise. I’m not usually a fan of books where the heroine falls in love with her kidnapper, but in this case, it works.This was fun as an audiobook. Stephanie Németh-Parker was a great narrator and really enhanced my enjoyment of the story.

This was my 1st Audiobook as I normally read, It was very well read and the story is so gripping and so emotionally charged. The characters are ery complex but also relatable. I would reccomend this book for all young adults and adults who love unique fantasy vampire stories. Well done Selina.
