Aravind Adiga is the author of the Man Booker Prize–winning best seller The White Tiger and a collection of stories, Between the Assassinations. He was born in Madras, India in 1974 and grew up in Mangalore. After emigrating to Sydney, Australia, with his family, he studied at James Ruse Agricultural High School, later attending Columbia and Oxford universities. Originally a trained Investment Banker, Garewal made the move to acting when he landed the role of Jasper Choudhary in Nickelodeon’s hit series House of Anubis. He has gone on to star in a number of notable productions including Hollywood blockbuster, The League of Extraordinary Gentleman, and HBO’s Dirty War. Garewal also narrated the Man Booker Prize shortlister The Year Of The Runaways by Sunjeev Sahota; the Inspector Chopra series by Vaseem Khan for which Garewal received an Audiofile Earphones Award; and several Chetan Bhagat titles – India’s best-selling English-language author.
