Rebecca Carvalho is a Recifense writer based in Berkeley, California. She loves crafting stories filled with close-knit neighborhoods, Brazilian food, and telenovela-esque settings. Salt and Sugar is her debut novel, and it was inspired by her life in northeastern Brazil.
