Deep in the bowels of an aging cargo ship, an important man is dead and the woman who killed him is mortally wounded. The 8th book in the Witness Series is the best one yet (and it takes a lot to compete with the first seven books). The continual development of the main characters, the detailed backstory of the secondary characters, along with a well paced plot is what makes Rebecca Forster novels a must read for any thriller fan. I was pleasantly surprised by the naturalness of the voice and the vocal inflections of Google's Auto-Narration. It was a very enjoyable listening experience. Highly recommended

Absolutely wonderful, This is a storyline that keeps you on your toes. The authors creative writing is astounding. The AI those does lack the emotional connection but when you need it read to you, you take it however you can. I highly recommend these novels in the series. I couldn't pause it while rollin', I was that hooked from the first few chapters. Like the other 7 novels. Thank you for your works. Keeps my left door shut.
