Award-winning Texas author Mary L Hamilton has written magazine articles, a play, and five novels. Her initial novels formed a three-book series for young teens and pre-teens. Her Rustic Knoll Bible Camp series grew out of her own childhood memories of living at a youth camp. Since then, she has transitioned to writing mysteries for a more mature audience. Mary finds inspiration for her novels in real-life situations, and all her stories feature characters who struggle in various aspects of the Christian faith. Readers often comment that her characters feel like real people. When not writing, Mary is usually walking her dog, but she also enjoys reading, knitting, and quiet evenings at home with her husband. They have three grown children and two grandchildren
