Richard Wagamese was one of Canadaโs foremost First Nations authors and storytellers. He was the author of thirteen books including Indian Horse, the Peopleโs Choice winner in the Canada Reads competition. He held Honorary Doctor of Letters degrees from Thompson Rivers University and Lakehead University. He lived in Kamloops, BC.
