Ever since he became a Christian at the age of forty, it has been Poirot actor David Suchet's dream to make an audio recording of the whole Bible. In between filming the final episodes of Poirot, David Suchet spent over 200 hours in the recording studio to create the very first full-length audio version of the NIV Bible spoken by a single British actor.

While this is an excellently recorded audio book, not having a meaningful contents list is absolutely ridiculous! It is fairly obvious most users will want to select a particular, book / chapter / verse to listen to at a time rather than listen to the whole bible it in its entirety from start to finish! Please give the track titles the names of the books (e.g. genesis, matthew etc) and meaningful chapter numbers that correspond to the actual chapter numbers in the niv!

The only way to navigate is by chapter number which is bonkers! Please add,
at least, book names so you can see where each one starts. Otherwise,
please add book names and chapter and verse numbers which would make
perfect.

This is so difficult to write. I love David Suchets voice in this. But the fact that the chapters are uselss numbers from 1-1100 rather than Book and Chapter makes the who thing utterly unusable. I wish I could fix it.

David Suchet CBE is an acclaimed British actor. He has enjoyed great success with the RSC and in London's West End. He is best known in television for his portrayal of Agatha Christie's detective Hercule Poirot. He is also a practising Anglican.
