Only One Forever is the eighth book in the Only One series, and it was certainly entertaining. I have loved getting to know these families and every book has been wonderful, but I think this one is my favorite. It’s a best friend-to-love storyline with a few twists that could destroy two families. Dylan was adopted by Justin, who is Alex’s uncle, but he was always treated as one of the family. Although Dylan and Alex are not real blood cousins, they grew up together as cousins and had been best friends since childhood. Alex lands a job in Dallas, where most of their family lives, and is settling in. She has loved Dylan forever but he has never seen her that way so she is hoping the move will give her an opportunity to move on with her life. Every year the family and close friends go on vacation together and Alex is hoping this year will be different. That is until Dylan decides to leave the hockey team in Canada and get transferred to Dallas. How can she get over him when she must see him all the time? Dylan feels like something is missing after Alex moves to Dallas. His contract is up with the Canadian hockey team he plays with, and he thinks it might be a good opportunity to move to Dallas to be near Alex and their family. Except suddenly Alex is acting strange, his feelings are different, and he is noticing her as a woman. This was an amazing book that will leave you with all the feel-goods. It was a low angst book, and full of family fun and drama. This is an awesome series and I look forward to the next book from the author. I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

5 star Review Only One Forever (Only One #8) by Natasha Madison This is book eight in the Only One series from Natasha Madison and I could not wait to read Dylan and Alex’s story. The writing was strong with characters that you cannot help but fall in love with and I had a hard time putting this one down when real life got in the way. This was an emotional, steamy, friends to lovers story that ticked all the boxes for me. This was a great addition to what is one of my top hockey series. It is a story full of love, romance and family and it was wonderful to see some familiar faces make an appearance whilst reading. I went through so many emotions whilst reading this book. Will they risk their friendship for a chance at love? I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see how their story played out. The connection between Dylan and Alex has always been strong, always there for one another when needed. Can they work through their feelings and in doing so find a lasting love? For me, Dylan and Alex are two halves of a whole, soul mates that were meant to be together.
