Kate Mulgrew brings her commanding presence to this audiobook and ultimately elevates the story with her performance. Perhaps its not the most astonishing Star Trek story; it longers on Janeway's past quite a bit, and while it does give some excellent insight into her character, it also distracts from Voyager and her crew at times. That being said, it is still quite an engaging story and I would reccomend it to any Star Trek fan.

I liked the Autobiography of Kathryn Janeway more, but this one felt more like a Star Trek: Voyager story in terms of themes, characters and general flavour.
