This was a very interesting book about three women Christian missionaries from England you spent a lot of time spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ in Northwest China, and who spent a lot of time enduring or escaping warfare, and who crossed the Gobi desert and spent much time there, which was unheard of for Westerners back in those days, especially for Western women!
