Justine Larbalestier was born and raised in Sydney and is the author of the award-winning Magic or Madness Trilogy. She is married to young-adult author Scott Westerfeld and they divide their time between Sydney and New York City. She wishes she had a clothes-shopping fairy instead of the procrastination fairy she battles with almost every day.
Channie Waites is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University. One of her many joys is working as an actor for the not-for-profit organisation Only Make Believe. She has several New York based and regional acting credits. Channie also performs and teaches with the Phyllis Rose Dance Company and is a member of The Essence of Joy Alumni Singers.
