As a primary school going kid, I never liked reading Fairy tales. I don’t exactly remember why. Maybe I was too lazy to read and imagine things. But all I did was flip through the pages staring at the illustrations. . . Primose’s Curse is authored by a father-daughter duo. No wonder the story begins with Primrose’s undying love for her father. She sets out on a long journey to find some magical herbs for her ailing father and embarks on a longer mission to save humanity after she encounters her magical woodland friends. The narration of the story is beautiful and kept simple. I liked how Primrose’s journey is imagined all throughout. The plot is very meaningful. Defeating evil forces and saving humanity. The theme sounds deep but the perspectives of a young author makes it very simple. Kindness, coexistence of humans and animals peacefully, sharing, caring, choosing good over evil are some of the beautiful lessons that the story emphasises on. The illustrations after every few pages will help young readers relate to the scenes. Please read out the story to your kids, niece/nephew or any young kid you know. I’m sure this book will help you travel back in time and relive your childhood again. Listening to the audiobook was equally wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I would like to appreciate the voice artist for such a beautiful and clear narration 😮 If you simply keep your eyes shut and listen to how the story progresses, you will live through the entire journey with PRIMROSE, just like I did. At times, I would just pause for a while and wonder how brave the young author must be to imagine such a difficult journey. She also seems to be have an independent thought process. I liked the idea of Primrose courageously heading towards Hellevue to defeat the evil sorceress without the help of a Prince unlike other fairy tales. She didn’t look back to bring her brother Stanley either after she had an encounter with the woodland animals😮. So brave that is. Can’t wait to read the next in the series. I’m sure Kiara and her Dad already imagined how Primrose will use her extraordinary magical powers towards the cause of humanity again. My best wishes to the young debutant. ♥️♥️♥️

The book has a very simple usage of words and will be a learning experience for children. It is a light book and can be read quickly. I really loved the tale and it is a good book for kids with a great message of bravery and courage. For a 10-year-old author, the book is a huge start of a writing journey and I would recommend that every kid should read it once. Also, if you ever want to gift a fairy tale then Primrose's curse is superfine. And I am really looking forward to reading the sequel.

I've never read a fairy tale and listening to one was really a new experience. It's the story of a girl named Primrose who goes on an adventure to save the world from evil powers. The language is simple and easy to understand. The book indirectly portrays values and ethics and one must know and follow. I liked the humble conversations between the characters and the adventure was nice too. The childlike nature of the the animals was charming to listen to. Recommended for children.
