Als ich auf einer Veranstaltung der hiesigen Eishockeymannschaft beinahe über den Haufen gerannt werde, fängt mich der neue Captain auf. Er ist nicht nur ein Hüne von Mann, sondern auch Single Dad. Und vor allem geht er mir seitdem nicht mehr aus dem Kopf. Mason Turner ist neu in der Stadt. Als alleinerziehender Vater und mit seinen Aufgaben bei den Philadelphia Pucks hat er alle Hände voll zu tun. Mir geht es ähnlich, schließlich will ich neben meinem Café auch noch einen Catering-Service aufbauen. Aber Masons Sohn scheint ein großer Fan meiner Backwaren zu sein, weswegen die beiden immer wieder bei mir auftauchen. Die Anziehungskraft zwischen mir und dem heißen Eishockeyspieler ist nicht zu leugnen. Wir einigen uns auf etwas Unverfängliches.
