Classic Romeo & Juliet theme going on, the story was cute, there was definitely a lot less conflict than I was expecting. The story was very mellow and the characters were okay. It was a cute, quick read.

She has a BA in creative writing from Louisiana State University, a MEd in gifted education, and was privileged to study under the award-winning author Ernest J. Gaines in grad school. She lives in Louisiana with her husband and four children.
