James R. Otteson is the John T. Ryan Jr. Professor of Business Ethics at the University of Notre Dame. He is the author of Adam Smith's Marketplace of Life, Actual Ethics, The End of Socialism, Honorable Business, and Seven Deadly Economic Sins.
