About the author
James McGraw is professor emeritus of plant population biology and ecology at West Virginia University. As a scientist and Aldo Leopold Leadership Program Fellow, McGraw has been an advocate for communicating science to the public and policy makers.
Eric Smies grew up in the windy city of Chicago but now calls Los Angeles home. A classically trained actor and singer with a BFA in professional theater, he has performed in shows from Hamlet to Guys and Dolls throughout the US. He has also narrated and produced over twenty audiobooks in various genres.
