This kept me turning each and every page, as I literally inhaled this storyline. Grief, mystery, suspense is intertwined with secrets & lies that have taken over Kelia’s life. Adding in an enemy that is the most dangerous man on all the seas who is wanted by the society she has grown up in. New friendships are formed, more lies uncovered, more lives put on the line. These relationships and world carried the realism that makes your heart stop, pulse race and edge of the seat tension you literally feel in your bones as your grip tightens. Drew Knight shouldn’t care. Kelia May loose her life because she does. She is to stubborn to do anything other than vengeance & destroying the only life she has ever known. This story is truly as dark & dangerous as the ocean, deep, changeable & can suck you under until it releases you from its clutches.. I definitely recommend this book, it’s a captivating series, with an ending that will leave you needing book.2.
