In order to save himself and stop the Dragon Souls, he must learn a truth about himself that leads him closer to the one thing he fears above all others: dragons. Somehow, he might be the only one able to protect them from the Dragon Souls, but how can he protect what he hates?

D. K. Holmberg lives in Minnesota and is the author of multiple series, including the Lost Prophecy, the Cloud Warrior Saga, Dark Ability, Teralin Sword, and Lost Garden. When he's not writing, he's chasing around his two active children.
Matt Godfrey was raised on O'Connor, Welty, and Lee. He spent most of his teenage years in Yoknapatawpha County, but traveled wherever the books took him, from Alabama to Tokyo, Twain to Murakami. Now he has the privilege of bringing those books to life as an audiobook narrator.
